Cyber Attacks on Vaccination centers of Germany

1466

When the entire world is busy with a vaccination drive to eradicate COVID-19 from their region and the whole globe, Germany’s Angela Merkel warned that the vaccinations centers are vulnerable to sophisticated cyber attacks that could bring the vaccination drive to a major halt.

In an update sent to Bloomberg by the Interior Ministry of Germany, all vaccinations centers related to corona virus have been put on high alert as there is a severe threat to such government-funded programs.

To those uninitiated, Germany is planning to vaccinate its entire populace by Sept 2021 in order to recover the economy from the period long shut down started from last year because of the wide spread of the China Virus. The only hope is that as soon as the vaccination drive ends for the frontline workers and senior citizens, all above 18 years can be induced with the vaccine in the pre-determined time frame.

Perhaps Merkel doesn’t want to take any chances with adversaries and so has issued a warning to companies involved in R&D, production; transportation and distribution of Corona vaccine in align with the lawmakers of the Green Party in the Bundestag who questioned her regarding the government initiative early this month.

Now, the big question, will the government end the lockdown on February 14 of 2021…?

Yes, says Georg Nublein, the Vice Chairman of the Union Parliamentary Group!

Well, a lot of factors need to be considered before taking the big decision….isn’t it?
