DigiFlight Strengthens Cyber Risk Leadership with Appointment of Jermaine Stanley

CSI-Jermaine-Stanley

DigiFlight Inc. has appointed cybersecurity governance and compliance expert Jermaine Stanley as its new Director of Cybersecurity Compliance, reinforcing the company’s capabilities as defense contractors respond to increasingly stringent Department of Defense cybersecurity requirements. The appointment is intended to strengthen DigiFlight’s efforts to help organizations across the defense industrial base reduce cyber risk and improve compliance preparedness.

Stanley joins DigiFlight with more than 25 years of experience spanning cybersecurity compliance, governance, and enterprise risk management. Throughout his career, he has worked across the financial services, government, technology, insurance, and nonprofit sectors. In his new role, he will lead enterprise cyber risk and compliance initiatives supporting defense contractors and federal suppliers.

Stanley previously served as Immediate Past President of the ISACA Greater Washington, DC Chapter and was a member of the ISACA Foundation Board, where he contributed to initiatives that awarded more than $1.4 million in scholarships worldwide. He holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, along with several industry certifications, including CISA, CDPSE, and CMMC Certified Professional.

“Jermaine’s extensive experience in cybersecurity governance, compliance, and risk management comes at a critical time for organizations navigating increasingly complex cybersecurity and regulatory requirements. His leadership will strengthen our ability to help government agencies and defense contractors achieve compliance, reduce cyber risk, and build more resilient security programs. Just as importantly, Jermaine brings a deep commitment to advancing the cybersecurity profession and developing the next generation of security leaders, which aligns perfectly with DigiFlight’s mission and values,” said Stan Oliver, CEO, DigiFlight.

Appointment Supports Growing Defense Cybersecurity Requirements

As cyber threats become more sophisticated and the Department of Defense expands enforcement of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements throughout the defense industrial base, organizations are under increasing pressure to demonstrate both regulatory compliance and cybersecurity maturity. Stanley’s appointment enhances the capabilities of DigiFlight and Camelot Secure, a DigiFlight company, by bringing additional expertise in cybersecurity compliance and enterprise risk management.

His leadership is expected to further strengthen DigiFlight’s cybersecurity offerings, helping defense contractors and federal suppliers streamline CMMC certification efforts, improve cyber resilience, and remain qualified for mission-critical government contracts.
