Five Eyes issues Russian Cyber Threat warning

973

All the countries that are against Russia’s war on Ukraine, mainly the UK, US, Australia, Canada and New Zealand and collectively called as Five Eyes- have been warned about a major possible cyber attack from Russian Federation.

So, all the national leaders from the above stated five countries are being urged to bolster the security of the IT infrastructure in their respective nations. As Kremlin might plan a digital war on the world as it is getting stiff resistance from its neighboring country, all because of the support from the west with funds and artillery.

To those uninitiated, Five Eyes is an intelligence alliance comprising countries such as New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States, Canada and Australia. On an overall note, all these 5 English-speaking democracies share intelligence between each other to avoid any international troubles.

In April second week this year, Five Eyes received intelligence that Russian speaking cyber criminals such as Smokey Spider, Trickbot, Conti group affiliates Wizard Spider and The XakNet Team, along with Scully Spider and Smoke Loader were devising plans to hack the west with support of other internationally recognized cyber attack nations including notorious terrorist organizations like ISIS.

Their plan is to simply cause disruptions in power grids and the water supply of western nations, leading to chaos and political unrest. And as a last resort, they have a Plan B to deteriorate the situation by disrupting or causing harm to the operations of nuclear reactors, leading to a national calamity.

Hope, someone from the White House has taken a note of it and will alert all others from Five Eyes before it is too late.
