Israel to build a Cybersecurity Headquarters serving manufacturers

Many companies based in Israel are facing immense cyber threats, the Manufacturers Association of Israel (MAI) has announced that they are going to build a Cybersecurity headquarters to deal with mounting cyber attacks.

As industries in Israel are facing the threat of imminent attacks, the MAI that stands as a wholesome representation of Israel Industrialists has built a centralized headquarters that would serve in lines with UKā€™s NCSC and US NSA.

MAI says that the aim of the headquarters will be to provide information and services on cyber protection to the industries and business sectors operating in and around the country and will stand guard against threats emerging from adversary nations such as Iran.

In the past few years, Israel has emerged as a hub to digital development as most of the renowned technology companies are in the region. Therefore, MAI is looking curtail any cyber threats that are emerging to tackle Israeli Industry.

MAI will act as a centralized platform to share threat information, any cyber attacks that took place on the companies and cyber expertise that will help victims in coming out of cyber troubles.

Rafael Franco, the former chief of Israel National Cyber Directorate will head the management of MAI that will also include some senior staff members from Cyber field and technology companies as panelists.

Note- Manufacturers Association of Israel (MAI) is an authorized representative body of the industrial sector operating in Israel and that includes private, public and government industries. It is divided into 5 divisions that include Economics, Finance, Communications, Labor, and Foreign Trade & International Relations that are later divided into sub associations based on the industry of operation, respectively.
