Medibank Australia becomes a victim of a sophisticated cyber attack

Medibank Private LTD, the insurance firm from Australia, has made it official that it became a victim of a sophisticated cyber-attack where the personal details of customers and their bank information were not accessed.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the healthcare company admitted that its IT staff detected unusual network activity from the early hours of Wednesday and immediately switched to an incident recovery plan that led to partial disruption of certain digital services. However, the company assured that the incident was contained before any untoward situation raised- all thanks to its efficient disaster recovery plan.

Interestingly, cybercrime crime was witnessed just after a few days of revelation about Australia’s Optus Cyber Attack and Singtel’s data theft and so the Australian government is concerned about the attacks and suspects the Russian hacking group behind the incident, as the former supports

Australian government is concerned about the attacks and suspects Russian hacking group behind the incident, as the former is supporting Ukraine in its war with Putin.

Kremlin has issued a public statement that it will indulge in nuclear warfare if its adversaries try to provoke it. It also warned Australia and the UK to stop supplying artillery rockets to the Zelenskyy-led nation as it could trigger an apocalypse.

United Nations(UN) is making a note of every situation and is currently seeking advice from western countries like United the Kingdom and United the States. Information is out that the UN will take help from China if Vladimir Putin plans to use nuclear warfare in the Ukrainian populace.

NOTE- If this happens, a situation that was triggered at the time of the nuclear bombing in Hiroshima would be repeated.
