Microsoft, the American technology giant has teamed up with Darktrace to help customers detect and respond to cyber threats in an automated way. Cybersecurity company Darktrace integrates its threat analysis intelligence with machine learning tools offering enhanced security features across varied cloud platforms and enterprise environments, thus easing work pressure for the security teams.

The Satya Nadella led company says that its threat intelligence tool will learn from the data of its users and will analyze their activities across various environments. Hence, such analysis will help its AI tools distinguish between innocuous and malicious behaviors.

“These days hackers are becoming sophisticated and AI intelligence is said to help the security teams protect and detect threats before they could eject any damage to public and private networks”, said Clare Barclay, the CEO of Microsoft UK.

Darktrace AI has the potential to promptly detect remote working cyber risks, ransomware threats, data loss, supply chain vulnerabilities, phishing, and insider threats. It can integrate with Microsoft 365, cloud apps like Azure Sentinel, and OneDrive business users.

Note- Found in 2013, the UK-based Cyber Defense company Darktrace offers AI-based intelligence-driven cybersecurity. It’s Enterprise Immune System Technology that was developed with the help of Cambridge University Mathematicians helps in automatically detecting cyber threats across different digital environments that included IoT, Industrial Control Systems, and cloud environments. In November 2017, Darktrace Industrial business unit was launched by the AI-based cyber threat intelligence company that specializes in protecting Industrial and SCADA Networks.
