New York University(NYU) students of Master of Science in CyberSecurity Risk and Strategy degree have a great news to rejoice. As they will receive training in cloud security by Zscaler in Security Access Service Edge and Zero Trust related certification.

Zscalar Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) will be the courses offered by the company that intends to offer more such progressive curriculum in months to come.

Readers of Cybersecurity Insiders have to take a note that in March 2019, Gartner predicted that there would be a shortage of over 2 million Cybersecurity professionals by the end of this year and the numbers might increase with the rise of remote working amid COVID 19 situation.

New York University desires to fill up the shortage of security professionals by offering progressive courses that could educate and train its MSC degree holders with skill grooming strategies along with a hands-on application adoption skills. And Zscalar will support the aim of NYU with ZIA and ZPA certifications.

ā€œZscaler is trying to speed up the careers of NYU graduates by offering courses that help proliferate their job grabbing opportunitiesā€, said Aspen Olmsted, Professor of NYU Tandonā€™s Cybersecurity Program.

Note- Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange is the worldā€™s largest cloud security platform that intends to secure over 120 billion transactions by red flagging over 100 millions of cyber threats on a day-to-day basis. It has over 4,820 customers on a worldwide note across multiple industries and got a check-in from Forbes Global 2000 two years ago. ZIA is a service offered by the cloud based Information Security Company and focuses on presenting a cloud based internet and web security that can scale as per the user needs regardless of location. ZPA offers a Zero Trust Network Access to private applications without the need for them to connect to the network.
