Historically using a legacy homegrown asset management system, the customer had implemented ServiceNow CMDB over a year earlier. However, both systems were still active and, in different cases, represented complimentary, redundant or conflicting information. Further, to build true ‘Business Context’ the customer needed to incorporate additional systems for information that was not retained in either of the existing IT asset management systems.
