Argishti Khudaverdyan, a former retailer of T-Mobile company, received a 10-year jail imprisonment sentence at the end of last as he was found guilty of hacking into the servers of the telecom provider and gaining access to phone unlocking and unblocking of cellphones.

The 45-year-old man made thousands of dollars by indulging in the activity of unlocking by infiltrating operational servers of T-Mobile between Aug’14 to June’19.

Top Tier Solutions was the retail company that Mr. Khudaverdyan owned at the time of crime and Department of Justice has also evidenced that he also unlocked iPhone devices belonging to Sprint and AT&T between 2015-2017 and so is about to virtually prosecute him on this note.

It is unclear yet on how the person got access to internal servers. However, the law enforcement is also investigating how the retailer in association with another person could gain access into the telecom services provider without a hand from the insider.

Meantime, T-Mobile has made it official that it will move its 5G and 4G traffic to a new cloud native core gateway beamed onto Cisco. The move is likely going to boost performance to customers as there will be a record 15% improvement in both speed and latency.

Home internet services operating on 5G will receive a great boost as the new tech deployment onto cloud will enable the carrier gain scalability and agility on network slicing to improve testing of VoNR service to the core.

Thus, businesses and individuals can experience the most powerful 5G network on the cloud native gateway, taking the service to the next level to create a hard-to-reach benchmark.

On a technical front, Cybersecurity Insiders has gained intelligence that the new cloud native gateway will be powered by Cisco 8000 Series routers, 5G powered gateways, Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) and Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches.
