ADT Security acquires Secure Designs Inc

ADT Security that is renowned to provide electronic security solutions to commercial and home establishments has announced that it has acquired Greensboro based Cyber Security firm ‘Secure Designs Inc(SDI)’ for an undisclosed amount.

Business analysts say that the objective behind the deal could be to protect customer networks and business data from all variants of cyber threats.

As the deal was closed early this month, SDI is said to use the ADT Cybersecurity name on an immediate note and all the 30 employees of the firm are said to migrate to the payrolls of ADT by this month end.

Larry Cecchini, the former CEO of SDI has been named the vice president and general manager of ADT Cybersecurity Small Business.

“ ADT and SDI are perfect matches as two companies are dedicated to providing business owners with peace of mind knowing their greatest investment is monitored and more secure”, said Michael Keen, VP of ADT Cybersecurity.

Mr. Keen added that the resources and technology of SDI are said to help ADT to provide real-time insights into internet risks and behaviors, coupled with bundled solutions to improve the performance of small businesses.

Enterprise-grade Firewall monitoring, customization, installation, and management are all part of ADT Cybersecurity services.

SDI’s integration with ADT will now ensure multi-grade security approach is offered to ADT customers and that includes email encryption, BYOD security, vulnerability scanning, active perimeter defense, and secure remote access to isolate customers from data loss.
