Lack of attention shown by Trump’s Government towards growing cyber threats has made eight of Donald Trump’s security advisers resign from their respective posts. They collectively allege that the 45th President looks disinterested in securing the nation from state funded cyber attacks.

As per the details available to our Cybersecurity Insiders, a quarter of the national Infrastructure Advisory Council was miffed with the decisions taken by trump and his government to keep a check on cyber attacks being launched on the nation’s critical infrastructure by state funded actors. They allege that the White House is acting like a ‘Dumb Doll’ and is showing a blind eye towards security incidents hitting the United States.

All of the eight members who submitted their resignation are tasked with the advising skills to US Homeland Security Department on Cyber Security and the Protection of Infrastructure.

The Independent of UK reports that the resignations came after Trump disbanded 2 business advisory councils after receiving resignations from chief executives over his response to the Neo-Nazi rally in Virginia; his willingness to withdraw from the Paris
Agreement over Climate Change and due to the white house’s inability to give a convincing explanation for cyber attacks launched on US 2016 Polls.

Note- Three of the eight officials who submitted their resignations belong to the era of Barack Obama’s administration which ended in January first week of this year.
