As organizations move from using AI to delegating work to AI agents, the security challenge changes. Agents can interpret goals, make decisions, call applications and APIs, communicate with other agents, and take actions on our behalf. That creates a new class of enterprise identity – one that can operate autonomously and at machine speed. Join Cybersecurity Insiders and HPE to explore what happens to Zero Trust when identities are no longer limited to people, devices, and workloads, but include AI agents capable of acting autonomously and at machine speed. We’ll discuss why identity, policy, visibility, and enforcement become even more important in an agentic enterprise; why fragmented security controls create new gaps; and why networking and security increasingly need to work together as organizations move toward AI-native, self-driving, and self-protecting infrastructure. We’ll also explore the role AI itself can play in helping defenders understand and respond to activity at machine speed, supported by new research into how organizations are preparing for this shift. We’ll discuss why it’s important to:

• Extend Zero Trust to agentic identities: Understand why organizations need to know who or what is acting, who owns it, what authority has been delegated, and how that access can be controlled and revoked.

• Make policy follow the identity: Explore why consistent, least-privilege policy becomes increasingly important as identities operate across remote, on-premises, cloud, and agentic environments.

• Enforce access closer to the action: Consider why enforcement needs to happen wherever identities interact with applications, workloads, data, and other resources, helping limit exposure and contain unauthorized activity.

 • Use AI to defend against AI: Discuss why human-speed security will increasingly struggle in a machine-speed world, and the role AI can play in helping detect, understand, and respond to suspicious activity.
