Checkpoint offers world first autonomous cyber threat prevention platform

Check Point R81, an autonomous cyber threat prevention platform was introduced to the world by Check Point Software Technologies. The California based security provider states that the platform is industry’s first threat prevention platform that helps multinational companies secure their IT infrastructure from cyber attacks.

Since March 2020, many companies have switched to remote administrative operations by giving a boost to their digital transformation programs. However, this corporate transformation of managing remote employees on a digital note has given rise to multiple cyber risks linked complexities.

According to a survey taken up by Check Point, over 70% of respondents admitted that there has been a significant increase in cyber attacks after the beginning of COVID-19 Pandemic

Check Point R81 addresses all the security needs at once with its automated threat prevention technology, helping organizations defend their infrastructure in a smarter and more efficient way, through distributed network.

Itai Greenberg, the VP of Product Management at Check Point, stated that R81 offers holistic visibility to threats and automates the prevention by providing granular control over the entire network and eliminating configuration errors.
