Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise Edition offered with 3 years Mobile Security Updates

Samsung’s American wing has launched new unlocked Enterprise Edition of Galaxy Note 8 smartphones for enterprises and SMBs. The company promises that its new device comes with a promise of monthly mobile security updates for up to 3 full years i.e from the date of purchase and is being offered for a price of $994.

The South Korean mobile manufacturing giant is also giving a purchase assurance that the same device model will be available for purchase up to 2 years from the date of its availability. Meaning, enterprises can offer the device to their respective users without a worry about the device going “End of Life” in coming years.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise Edition is being offered with Samsung Knox Configure and Enterprise Firmware over the Air (E-FOTA) updates which allow IT, teams, to remotely configure the hardware and manage the device through a centralized interface.

Coming to the specifications of the said device which is termed as a true competitor to Apple iPhone 8, the Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise Edition almost mimics the present Note 8. The smart offer is being offered with 6.3 inches of Super AMOLED Infinity display having a resolution of 1440X 2960 pixels. The phone user will get an S pen with which they can write notes onto the mobile.

A Samsung DeX capability to connect the Galaxy Note 8 device to a desktop is also being offered as a privilege to Samsung Galaxy Note 8 users.

Samsung is rolling out the special enterprise edition of smartphones in order to compete with Apple’s Ultra Premium version of iPhone X.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with Face ID integration and a bezel-less, Super Retina display.
