Mobile Security app ‘Live Safe’ has added a new customer to its client-base. The Women’s National Basketball Association(WNBA) has taken up an initiative to make sure that their players are safe while traveling overseas on various sports assignments. From now on, all their mobile phones will be loaded with ‘Live Safe’ application which will keep them and their data safe from all kinds of troubles.

As per the sports league update, the association has tied up with LiveSafe to provide a mobile security application to its 60 plus players competing in Russia, Turkey, China and other countries this offseason.
The app will offer a proactive effort to protect the women players and secure their personal safety as well as the data on their mobile phones.

LiveSafe enables two-way, real-time communication between the individual, security and facilities teams. Thus, with this app, users can not only keep their data safe from cyber threats but can also upload images and videos related to incidents ranging from routine maintenance need to suspicious activity and safety threats.

Thus, WNBA will be using LiveSafe as a single solution for multiple needs such as-

1.) It helps keep the data on the phone safe and secure against cyber attacks.

2.) The app will allow the players communicate directly with the league and the security team

3.) It will also send regular advisories and notifications to players when they participate in sporting events played outside their country- all a part of the crowd sourced incidence.

4.) LiveSafe allows players to ask for help and receives help in dangerous situations while traveling in other continents.

5.) The data stored on the device such as contacts, texts, photos and videos will be encrypted with a password.

WNBA has signed a deal with LiveSafe to keep their players safe from all kinds of troubles arising from different cultures and conflicts. They want to keep their athletes who are also the stakeholders from all kinds of troubles.
