Fleet brings NVIDIA AI workstations into enterprise security and governance workflows

Enterprises deploying NVIDIA AI workstations can now bring those systems into the same device management workflows used for their wider IT estate, following an update from Fleet Device Management.

The company announced support for NVIDIA’s AI hardware ecosystem at NVIDIA GTC Berlin, including NVIDIA RTX PRO workstations and NVIDIA DGX Station. The update enables IT and security teams to oversee these systems alongside macOS, Windows and Linux devices.

The announcement addresses the management demands associated with bringing powerful AI computing into professional environments. As developers, engineers and other enterprise teams run advanced workloads locally, IT teams need visibility into the devices supporting that work, including their software, configurations and security posture.

Fleet provides a central view of operating systems, hardware, installed software, packages, security controls and vulnerabilities. Teams can use that information to assess where AI compute is deployed and whether devices comply with organisational requirements.

The platform also supports Git-based workflows for policies, configurations, deployment waves, reporting and remediation. Fleet says this allows organisations to apply reviewable and auditable processes to AI hardware throughout its lifecycle, helping teams track and reverse changes.

Mike McNeil, Fleet’s CEO and co-founder, said enterprises should be able to manage AI workstations from the same place as their other devices, using consistent visibility and controls.

NVIDIA’s Chris Marriott, vice president of Enterprise Platforms, said the company is bringing powerful AI computing directly to developers, creators, engineers and enterprise teams. Fleet’s support, he added, provides a unified approach to deploying and managing those systems.

Among the supported products, NVIDIA DGX Station is designed to build and run AI locally, supporting workloads including large AI development, inference, agentic AI and data science.

Further details are available in the full release.
