Huawei has made it official that all its Emotional User Interface(EMUI) custom operating system users will have embedded software offering them utmost mobile security against all cyber attacks.

As mobile banking and usage of apps has increased to many folds in recent times, Huawei wants to induce a trust into its phone users by offering them the best security in the world of IoT.

In order to achieve it, Huawei has partnered with Silicon Valley-based TrustLook which will now offer an embedded anti-virus engine in all its devices running EMUI 5.0. This new software has impeccable ability to protect the smartphones devices from the most dreaded malware of todayā€™s generation.

Huawei has made it official that it will introduce this feature in all its upcoming high-end models. This includes Huawei Mate 9 and Huawei Mate 9 Pro, as well as the devices that have been upgraded to EMUI 5.0 interface in Huawei product lineup.

Huawei which stands at the third position in smartphones sales segment- behind Samsung and Apple, hopes that its select users don’t need a separate security app to protect against malware with TrustLook integration.

Trustlook which offers next-generation mobile device security solutions said that it is proud to tie up with the worldā€™s leading smartphone maker which is not only interested in just offering mobile solutions, but wants to win the trust of its customers by offering utmost security on its smartphone platforms.

According to a survey made by San Jose-based Trustlook, in the 3Q of 2016, 642,217 different malware were discovered which is a 54% increase when compared to last year.

As the demand for mobile threat protection is picking up, Trustlookā€™s partnership with Huawei comes in the right phase.
