Zscaler acquiring Cloudneeti

Zscaler, the cloud-based information security platform is all set to acquire Cloudneeti, a cloud security posture management company that allows MSPs to track down misconfigurations across multi-cloud environments. Meaning, it helps users in analyzing and fixing misconfigurations across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and Google Cloud Platform.

The financial terms of the deal are yet to be revealed. But it is said to help the business development of Zscaler, especially in the mass work from a home movement which is picking up in the wake of Coronavirus pandemic.

Founded in the year 2017, Seattle based Cloudneeti is a software company that prevents and mitigates risks involving application failures in Saas, Iaas, and PaaS environments- which helps in keeping data breaches and compliance violations amongst cloud applications at bay. In short, it is a software company that offers continuous cloud security, data privacy, and compliance assurance.

Note 1-Ā Zscaler is a cloud-based information management security platform that helps users to route their web traffic from branch offices, factories, mobile devices through Zscaler points before forwarding them to the public internet.

Note 2-Ā Zscaler doesn’t support IPv6 products as of now. However, the company assured that its services will start supporting the new internet protocol from mid-2020.

Note 3-Ā Zscaler supports most of the renowned mobile device management vendors such as Airwatch, and MobileIron. It integrated with most of the single sign-on providers which include Azure AD, RSA, Okta, OneLogin, and Ping Identity.
