Emergency food stockpiling involves keeping an adequate supply of non-perishable food, drinking water, prescription medicines, first-aid items, batteries, flashlights, and other essential survival necessities. Such supplies are intended to help families remain self-sufficient for several weeks, or even up to two months, in the event of prolonged disruptions to essential services.
Government ministers are expected to launch a nationwide public awareness campaign that will educate citizens on how to prepare for emergencies, including those caused by cyber incidents. The initiative is designed to improve public resilience by encouraging practical preparedness measures rather than creating unnecessary alarm.
The reported plans come amid growing concerns that hostile nations could use cyberattacks as part of broader hybrid warfare strategies.
